MEET THE TEAM

I was first introduced to the limousine industry in 1986 when I became a chauffeur. My early assignments included airport runs, weddings, proms and funerals. Three years later, I bought a vehicle and started my own company. I remember the problems I encountered starting the business. But, even at the young age of 20, I had a passion for the industry and strived to be a professional who delivers unparalleled service.

My experiences with dealers over the years convinced me that most of them did not understand the livery industry. I knew I could do it better and ten years later I partnered with a Lincoln Mercury store to act as their sales and marketing division for limousines and livery fleet. My mission: to treat every customer the way I wanted to be treated, which includes no pushy sales tactics and having clients transition to confidants.

Thirty-five years later, I still wake up every morning with the same passion for the livery industry. It has become ingrained in my being. Every day I strive to make a positive difference by offering my clients the best product and services. I aim to turn a one-time transaction into a long term business relationship.

Barry Trabb is the president of Complete Fleet, a division of Maplecrest Ford Lincoln. He started as a chauffeur when he was just 17, and by 20 he had founded his own transportation company. He transitioned over to fleet sales in 1999 and now partners with several dealerships. He’s made his life and career about the transportation industry, and he’s always happy to share his knowledge with customers.

“I find myself giving advice to new operators to help them navigate the process of owning a business,” he says. “We make the process easy when purchasing a new vehicle from the paperwork to the delivery but it’s not unusual to also offer my help in other places. I’ve probably acted as a mentor to a hundred new operators over the years just because I’ve been where they’ve been.”
